Greg Page is an emerging New Zealand artist. His work combines an energetic, figurative style with text and creates a strong sense of narrative. The popular IT WAS ME! exhibition was on show JAN 29 to FEB 17 2007 at the Bowen Gallery, Ghuznee Street Wellington. In this series, Greg confesses to crimes he committed as a child. "The paintings are based on vivid memories. Some are trivial, others are major turning points in my childhood." It's a different kind of Kiwiana that will feel familiar to all all viewers. The Wellington IT WAS ME! show will feature exclusive new work in the series of painted confessions.
