I’ve always been enthralled by how fast our brains can process images. In every second of cinema there are 24 individual still frames whizzing past your eyes. I always attempt to capture movement in my paintings. With this series I included ‘time’. The results are 24 paintings equivalent to one second of motion. It’s an animation of sorts reflecting a large strip of film.
